Antique drop-arm sofa in grey check

This traditional drop arm sofa needed to be fully restored and reupholstered to bring it back to life. We removed the existing webbings and foams and replaced black and white jute webbing base attaching coil spring system, lashing to fit. We had to remove 2 layers of existing fabric and restore. We reupholstered in Moon Arncliffe fabric. Naturally we took the utmost care that the check pattern run seamlessly from panel to panel.

Custom-made wingback chair in wool plaid

Made to our client’s particular specifications, all measurements are designed to suit the individual’s needs. After consultation with the customer we were able to create a chair, exactly to their taste and specification. The chair is covered in a tasteful aubergine wool plaid fabric. It has been expertly upholstered so that the check pattern runs seamlessly from the back to the wings, to the arms and the cushion.

Armchair in check wool

The lambswool check fabric of this re-upholstered armchair is wonderfully warm and soft to the touch. This chair has an unusual feature, in that the front border runs the entire width of the chair, with only the facing piping running down over it. We also replaced the foam cushion with a feather cushion for a deeper seating position and enhanced comfort. The pattern of the check flows naturally from panel to panel.

Parker Knoll fireside armchair

This Parker Knoll armchair (model number PK720, aka the ‘Penshurst’) has been re-upholstered in an Abraham Moon check wool. With check fabrics we take great care that the pattern matches and the lines follow on from one another in all directions. It is this attention to detail which makes the finished piece look really special.
