These beautiful chairs were in desperate need of re-covering. The full set included some chairs with arms, and some without. The Sienna shades of the houndstooth Harris Tweed look fantastic against the dark woodwork.

Armchairs in Moon wool
We re-upholstered these two traditional winged armchairs in a distinctive Moon wool. Ther overall look is green but the pattern has a subtle multicolour stripe running through it. As always, the pattern runs seamlessly from panel to panel.
Antique sofa in burgundy stripe
Art Deco sofa in turquoise velvet
At KRS we are priveleged to work on some wonderful furniture, but there are times when a piece comes in which really stands out. This sofa is one of those statement pieces. It has definite nods to the Art Deco style, and we estimate it to be an early example from that period. We’ve re-upholstered it in a vibrant turquoise velvet. It’s not hard to imagine the bright young things of the 1920’s taking a seat, sipping a mint julep and enjoying the good times while they lasted!
Parker Knoll fireside armchair
This Parker Knoll armchair (model number PK720, aka the ‘Penshurst’) has been re-upholstered in an Abraham Moon check wool. With check fabrics we take great care that the pattern matches and the lines follow on from one another in all directions. It is this attention to detail which makes the finished piece look really special.
Antique dining chair set
Our client wanted a set of eight antique dining chairs re-upholstering in hessian, and we are absolutely delighted with the result. The warm sandy colour of the coarse fabric is beautifully set off by the dark wood and studwork.
