We re-covered this pair of rare Cassina Met corner sofas in a navy blue velvet. Upholstering a design such as this in a non-stretch fabric is extremely demanding, and many challenges were certainly faced during the process. But the fantastic end result justifies the efforts involved. This item is currently for sale, enquiries welcome.
We reupholstered this Buoyant sofa for a customer in Clitheroe. The fabric used is a chocolate-brown soft-feel slubbed velvet.
An excellent example of a period piece restored to a modern finish. Traditional wingback armchair re-upholstered in a steel/silver contemporary patterned velvet by Clarke & Clarke. We also made a bespoke oversize headboard in matching fabric for the client.
This mid 18th century antique double-ended chaise has been restored from the frame upwards, and looks resplendent in a beautiful deep purple velvet from Designers’ Guild.

The seat of this Scandinavian-style teak occasional chair was extremely worn and in need of replacement. We used a deep puple velvet, beautifully complemeted by brass decorative studs.
This stunning curved Conran two-piece sectional sofa is a real statement piece. The modern lines are perfectly complemented by the grey velvet-feel short pile fabric.
An early Victorian showpiece sofa, re-upholstered for the beautiful Eaves Hall venue in West Bradford, Clitheroe. The fabric is a burgundy raised velvet stripe on a gold soft cotton base. Scatter cushions were made to match.
At KRS we are priveleged to work on some wonderful furniture, but there are times when a piece comes in which really stands out. This sofa is one of those statement pieces. It has definite nods to the Art Deco style, and we estimate it to be an early example from that period. We’ve re-upholstered it in a vibrant turquoise velvet. It’s not hard to imagine the bright young things of the 1920’s taking a seat, sipping a mint julep and enjoying the good times while they lasted!
