This pair of traditional footstools was recovered in a beautiful pale blue patterned damask from Ross Fabrics. They are finished with a wide decorative braiding to complement the colour of the fabric.

Antique chaise in Moon paisley
Classic traditional chaise with decorative woodwork and plush upholstery. We traditionally restored the inside seat and polished the woodwork, before reupholstering in Moon ‘Mac’ paisley design in Heather. This lovely piece was finished with extensive brown studwork.
Georgian chair in blue Colefax & Fowler fabric
Original early Georgian chair, fully restored and upholstered in Colefax & Fowler Arundel blue fabric, an interesting plain which combines a subtly coloured space dyed warp with a rich chenille weft. Incorporating self piping for defined edges, and duck feather cushion for ultimate comfort.
Duresta Woburn suite in purple velvet
Despite the proliferation of sofas and chairs named ‘Woburn’ on the high street, this must surely be the original and best. Long-standing English manufacturer Duresta is famed for its build quality. With its signature curved bottom rail this Woburn is a timeless classic, and looks superb in deep purple velvet.
Footstool in Harris Tweed
Tub chair in purple
Leather studded footstool
We were presented with a cute little lidded footstool, which was unfortunately in a state of disrepair. We re-upholstered the piece both inside and out, to leave it looking as good as new. The exterior is covered in a wonderfully soft bruciato leather, and it is finished with brown studwork at each corner.
Buttoned wingback chair in cream leather
As can be seen from our ‘before’ photo, this imposing fireside armchair was in need of some urgent TLC. Our client chose cream Muirhead leather for the re-upholstery and we did the rest. Foam was replaced on both arms to restore comfort, as the original had lost some of its fullness over time. The chair is finished with chrome studwork.
Union Flag carver chair
This occasional carver chair arrived in our workshop with a ripped cover, collapsed wadding and broken springs. We stripped it back to the frame and made all the replacements necessary to provide renewed support and comfort.
Our client provided a piece of ‘Union Flag’ design fabric, which fits the seat perfectly and definitely makes a strong impression! It’s finished with brown studwork, and we think it looks fantastic. It’s a versatile piece of furniture which will suit a variety of spaces.
Duresta Lansdowne in grey wool
Deriving inspiration from the grand London Gentlemen’s clubs of St James’, the Lansdowne is one of Duresta’s traditional classics. The low arm sweeps beautifully from front to back. We re-upholstered a pair of these wonderful pieces in super soft pewter grey wool from Art Of The Loom.
