Designed in 1973 by Vico Masgistretti, the Cassina Maralunga was strikingly modern at conception, and still retains the same aesthetic appeal today (45 years later!), the sure sign of a design icon. We have restored this fantasic piece, it retains its original burgundy cashmere wool. The set comprises chair, footstool and a somewhat unusual 2.5 seater size sofa. This item is currently for sale, enquiries are welcome.

Ligne Roset Yang sectional sofa
The Ligne Roset Yang modular sofa is a particular favourite of ours, a true classic of furniture design. We love the way the seat gently slopes down towards the arms, giving the piece a real ‘flowing’ quality. Up to four pieces can be interrlocked if desired. It was designed in 2002 but is no longer in production, making pristine examples much sought-after. Such iconic lines benefit from an unfussy, contemporary fabric; as such we’ve kept it simple but inviting by re-covering in a pewter grey 100% lambswool.
Minotti Dubuffet sofa
Contemporaty curved sofa with additional sections for a flexible arrangement. We reupholstered this in a heavy linen/cotton mix, the cream colour in keeping with Minotti’s signature style. The cushions are a combination of foam rubber with feather topper for supreme comfort.
B&B Italia George in grey wool
The B&B Italia George was originally created by Antonio Citterio in 2001. Its elegant, angular lines have established it as a furniture design classic. We re-covered this particular example in grey wool, in perfect keeping with the contemporary nature of the piece.

Duresta Woburn suite in purple velvet
Despite the proliferation of sofas and chairs named ‘Woburn’ on the high street, this must surely be the original and best. Long-standing English manufacturer Duresta is famed for its build quality. With its signature curved bottom rail this Woburn is a timeless classic, and looks superb in deep purple velvet.
Flexform Long Island corner unit
Sophisticated sectional sofa by high-end Italian manufacturer Flexform. In their own words, “Flexform is an Italian industrial company that relies on deeply rooted expertise in the production of finely crafted sofas and furnishings, with an innate focus on design culture, a past of outstanding collaborations with the best designers and creative talents”. It’s precisely the sort of project we relish at KRS. We stayed true to the modern feel of this piece, by making new covers in soft pale grey lambswool fabric.

Duresta Lansdowne in grey wool
Deriving inspiration from the grand London Gentlemen’s clubs of St James’, the Lansdowne is one of Duresta’s traditional classics. The low arm sweeps beautifully from front to back. We re-upholstered a pair of these wonderful pieces in super soft pewter grey wool from Art Of The Loom.
Duresta Maximus in black Moon wool
A classic Duresta Maximus with scatter cushions, re-upholstered in black Abraham Moon wool. The beautifully soft dark fabric makes this huge piece of furniture so inviting.
