Cassina Met corner ‘L’ shape sofas
We re-covered this pair of rare Cassina Met corner sofas in a navy blue velvet. Upholstering a design such as this in a non-stretch fabric is extremely demanding, and many challenges were certainly faced during the process. But the fantastic end result justifies the efforts involved. This item is currently for sale, enquiries welcome.
Wingback armchair in steel velvet
An excellent example of a period piece restored to a modern finish. Traditional wingback armchair re-upholstered in a steel/silver contemporary patterned velvet by Clarke & Clarke. We also made a bespoke oversize headboard in matching fabric for the client.
Edra Getsuen chair
Every now and again something wonderfully flamboyant comes through the door to brighten our day, and this Getsuen chair by Edra is a perfect example of that. The neon green skateboard wheel at the rear is a detail which typifies this quirky Italian manufacturer. The chair had a small tear in the arm, but left our workshop repaired and looking pristine.
