A pair of elegant Duresta Lansdowne sofas, this time re-upholstered in light and dark grey Harris Tweed herringbone wool. The rare character and beauty of Harris Tweed is attributable to the fact that it is the only fabric produced in commercial quantities by truly traditional methods anywhere in the world. The islanders of Lewis, Harris, Uist and Barra produce this luxury cloth entirely by hand. From start to finish the cloth is in the hands of skilled and experienced artisans who oversee every stage of production utilising generations of knowledge to produce a product worthy of the name Harris Tweed.
Another Duresta has been carefully and lovingly restored to its former glory. This time a magnificent Hornblower has been re-upholstered in black wool from Abraham Moon & Sons. With some additional small repairs to the wooden finials, this lovely sofa looks great in the early Spring sunshine.
We’ve upholstered this fabulous pair of Duresta Trafalagar armchairs in a bespoke bruciato leather. Wonderfully soft to the touch, it’s naturally tanned with inherent scars which enhances the beauty of these fabulous pieces of furniture.
This Duresta Maximus looks magnificent in deep purple velvet. The fabric feels so luxurious and is fitting for this piece of furniture.
