Nottingham-based Cintique have been making furniture since 1908, and they pride thermselves on the high quality of their products. This fireside chair has been reupholstered in a hardwearing chenille fabric, and featured a buttoned inside back.

Ligne Roset Yang sectional sofa
The Ligne Roset Yang modular sofa is a particular favourite of ours, a true classic of furniture design. We love the way the seat gently slopes down towards the arms, giving the piece a real ‘flowing’ quality. Up to four pieces can be interrlocked if desired. It was designed in 2002 but is no longer in production, making pristine examples much sought-after. Such iconic lines benefit from an unfussy, contemporary fabric; as such we’ve kept it simple but inviting by re-covering in a pewter grey 100% lambswool.

Superb Suitcase chair by Minotti. The squared shape and ‘flat bar’ chrome metal feet make this a truly modern classic. It had been reupholstered in plain grey wool, in keeping with the contemporary lines of the piece.

Duresta rectory stool in Harris Tweed
The zebra-patterned fabric on this huge Duresta rectory stool was not to the new owner’s taste, so we recovered it in something a little more subtle. The Harris Tweed herringbone wool is wonderfully soft and warm, and will be a fantastic centrepiece for a living room. The tops of the wood turned legs are finished in brown studwork.

Check rocking chair
We reupholstered this rocking chair in a check wool. We also hand-made a coil sprung seat system (as a cushion) to replace the damaged original. The end result is a lovely little chair restored to its original level of comfort.

Parker Knoll fireside chair
This Parker Knoll PK720 wingback chair has been beautifully reupholstered in Sunbury ivory crushed velvet. At the client’s request, the technique used differed slightly from the norm, in that the inside back and wing panels were applied with the pile running ‘upside down’, to create a different kind of shading when the velvet catches the light.

Duresta Trafalgar armchairs – pair
These classic Duresta Trafalgar armchairs have been reupholstered in Art Of The Loom pewter wool. A wonderful traditional design, interest is provided by piping and borders along the arms, bottom of the front and top of the back. These chairs are currently for sale, enquiries are welcome.

Occasional bedroom chair
This small occasional bedroom chair was reupholstered in grey wool. As can be seen in the photos, we made a new seat cushion using Dunlopillo foam, which is wider than the original, and features notches to sit snugly around the chair’s arms.

This pair of traditional footstools was recovered in a beautiful pale blue patterned damask from Ross Fabrics. They are finished with a wide decorative braiding to complement the colour of the fabric.

Minotti Dubuffet sofa
Contemporaty curved sofa with additional sections for a flexible arrangement. We reupholstered this in a heavy linen/cotton mix, the cream colour in keeping with Minotti’s signature style. The cushions are a combination of foam rubber with feather topper for supreme comfort.
